We’re the two luckiest guys in the world. Happy birthday to the love of my life @lillimcnair. Celebrating her life and 9 years together.
We had a tough day yesterday but all is good now. What seemed like a routine fever for Cassian suddenly turned scary when the fever spiked to over 103 degrees. This caused him to have a seizure. It’s called a febrile seizure and it’s likely a one time thing caused by the rapid increase in temperature. He took a trip to the ER where he was cared for and given some Motrin and space to rest. We were able to leave a few hours later. Today he is back to his normal self. We’re very grateful it wasn’t more serious, but of course it was distressing. Thank you to all who supported us along the way! Incidents like this have a way of giving you perspective, gratitude, and compassion for others who are going through tough times.
