Happy to be a father. #firstfathersday #fathersday2018
2018 is turning out to be a year of big change. This week I accepted a job offer to join a branding and marketing firm in Reston called Hinge! I am incredibly fortunate for this opportunity and am excited for the challenges and adventures ahead. I am going to learn a ton! However, this means I am leaving a nonprofit organization which I deeply care about - Brain Injury Services. I am so thankful for all my colleagues who have journeyed with me over the last five years as we have worked together to bring quality services to survivors of brain injury and stroke in Northern Virginia. I have learned so much from all of you, and especially from the survivors and their family members who demonstrate remarkable resilience and courage on a day to day basis. I will miss everyone. Here’s to growth and the future! #2018changes #growth #newday
Happy Springtime! 🌳🌷🌸
UNEXPECTED. Tonight I earned the first stripe on my BJJ white belt! In January I made the decision to find a gym where I could begin practicing Brazilian Jiujitsu. I was looking for a challenge of mind, body, and soul. And I found it. For years I reluctantly went to the gym alone or tried to go running regularly as my way to stay in shape. But I hated it. I never saw progress and I inevitably took months off at a time and would land back at square one. THIS has been different. Working with my training partners has been super invigorating. I am so happy I was led to @evolveall where I was introduced to @cesarcabrerabjj, @emersondoyle, and the rest of my team. I have tapped out well over 100 times in the last four months. But I am seeing small victories both in my game, my mental strength, and in my lifestyle as I am to live a healthier life. I am amped... #bjj #cesarcabrerabjj #whitebeltjourney #firststripe
This is MY DUDE! I still can’t wrap my head around being a dad and having this guy in our lives. #🐻mcnair
