30 trips around the sun. Grateful for the journey! Thanks for all the birthday wishes and kind messages.
Our trip to Brazil is over and there are too many moments to share. This trip was the most quality time I’ve spend with a Lillian and Cassiano since he was born. Most of our time was spent in conversation at the table with family, lounging around, or on the road. I can’t say enough about the hospitable Brazilian spirit that all our relatives showed us.

As the decade comes to a close, my song on repeat has been Persephone by John Mark McMillian. It’s strange to grow up and become a different man than I expected be.
